Would a 2005 8600 international with a c13 cat motor be good for a 4 car wedge trailer? The truck has 400000 miles on it.

It has a c15 cat motor
-
Not the best choice out there but it will do. Better than a pickup anyway
nightsprince Thanks this. -
It won't get the greatest fuel mileage but you won't know you have a load.
John Dewart and nightsprince Thank this. -
I'm sorry it is a c13 engine
-
No. Not the greatest. But I get 7mpg+ in a 9200 dragging a refer around weighing a lot more than 4 cars.
OP. 400k on a day cab is quite a few. Be sure to have it checked out thoroughly. That CAT might be due for an inframe. You won't know till you have it checked.Terry270 and nightsprince Thank this. -
Not to thread jack, I thought those engines were rated much longer than that?nightsprince Thanks this.
-
Because a local yokel day cab could have a whole lot of hours to go 400,000 miles.
nightsprince and Terry270 Thank this. -
^^^This. And also 400k stop and go miles are much harder than otr miles
nightsprince Thanks this. -
