Me too. I’ll be sure to use this at the next scale house.

Is your trailer a west coast trailer? If it is the reason you cannot scale this is the center of weight on a west coast trailer is more like 3/4s of the way from the neck to the back of the well. It acts the opposite of a west 7 axle where you load on top of the neck… @truckdad will have pictures. The actually use ramps at the front of the well to get even farther forward of the neck. Flipping your flip neck will move the center of weight forward in the well by half the length of the flip neck - usually will ove a few thousand max.

I know when I’m moving 130,000lbs hoes the unit has to be pretty much touching the neck the scale out properly ( with a jeep on )

( note this is loaded wrong for weight, didn’t know when I took this picture )

    Not directed at the op.

I kinda wish that there was an endorsement before you were allowed to haul over dimensional and another that says that you have a better understanding of securement than hazmat haulers do of hazmat before you can haul equipment. The other day I was picking up a a new Deere and both trucks on either side of me seemed like they were turned loose without any real training. Under secured and unprepared; no height pole or tape measure. The one didn’t even understand that they were going to have a hard time getting to Regina with a 15’8” tall load.
