8.5 mpg @ 60mph with 12k lbs - this is computer readout from atl to n.o. louisiana when i reset after I fueled in ga.

    1999 volvo n14 370/430
    11r22.5 michelin xza3 steers 105 psi
11r22.5 kelly kda drives at 115psi
lopro 22.5 trailer dunlops fm (i cant remember tire number) 105psi

fuel is consistent. im at half tanks after run.

modifications: yes. light left foot. and fifth wheel all the way forward to help aerodynamics as well as trailer tandems all the way forward. less air turbulence? tryin to save for trailer skirts.

even swift passed me on this run, but i was in no hurry and trying to test a theory.

maintenance all done by us at our yard. oil and grease etc. fyi, just passed a lvl 1 inspection in florida and got a shiny cvsa sticker for my winshield.

It's easier for me. Speed limit in Oregon is 55, and that's where 2/3rds of my driving is done. California is also 55, and Washington is 60.

I never remember driving that slow or those speed limits in those states. Also I never see my mpg's being north of 6.75. My loads are 45k also.

Interesting mods you guys did. Thanks for sharing that info guys.

Don't worry about your doors being blow off those mpg's are speaking for themselves. When I get enough self contol over myself I'll try this but for now time is money over here still.

My truck that I used to get around 5 mpg with before I woke up and changed my driving habits with some mechanical modifications!

    1998 Volvo 770
    3406E Cat
13 speed Eaton tranny in 12th gear 1325 rpm # 57 mph mostly
    3.36 rear end gears
Pittsburgh Power Box level 1 mostly
Pittsburgh Power turbo and exhaust manifold with turbo blanket and exhaust wrap
Pittsburgh Power Crankshaft dampner and balancer
    FASS
    Walker MegaFlow Mufflers
    Fleet Air Filter
    Air Tabs on tractor
Deflecktor Wheel Covers on tractor only
MicroBlue micro-polished and coated wheel bearings on tractor only
MicroBlue micro-polished and coated rear end parts on both rear ends
Bridgestone M720 fuel saver drive tires 11R 22.5
    Continental HRS2 16 ply steer tires 11R 22.5
Mobil One 5W40 Synthetic Motor Oil
Walmart 2 cycle oil added around 150:1 to fuel

I averaged 8.59 mpg range on my dedicated runs during July. My dedicated runs are with 48' special made dry vans that I gross around 79K for 1/2 the trip and around 55K on the return on the around 1060 mile roundtrip. I use the same fuel stops and routes most of the time.

The MicroBlue micro-polishing and coating that has my August Fuel Mileage Average out of the 8 mpg range and into the 9 mpg range.

My fill ups for 3 dedicated runs was:
    August 3rd : 9.21 mpg
    August 9th : 9.26 mpg
    August 12th : 9.34 mpg

with one wild run with light trailers:
    August 6th : 10.02 mpg

Even Bobtailing August 16th: 14.04 mpg (Port Saint Lucie, FL Flying J and bobtailed to the Flying J in Rock Hill, SC to use 40.97 gallons on 575 miles)

I am considering switching to Michelin Super Singles on the drives in September or October to hopefully gain 3/10ths to 1/2 mpg more.

Been battling another leaking CAC that I am swapping for a heavy duty one (Vista-Pro) on Tuesday 9/21/11 that MicroBlue wants the rear ends out of my truck and swapped for 2 more with some enhancements to possibly gain even more MPGs.

Barstow, CA to Flagstaff, AZ to Winslow, AZ to Fort Defiance, AZ to Alburquerque, NM to Denver, CO = 1,249 miles 9.99 MPG with a 15,000lbs load :yes2557:

If im always hauling 25K or less i will get 7.2-8.75 mpg average with idleing

if i'm heavy 25K+ loads i can be between 5.5 and 6.7mpg with idleing

Just adding it as lubricant for the ULSD in older motors like mine. I believe it might even help a little with the MPGs too.

There was some testing on this and several other additives used and I like the cost of this one and what it did compared to Lucas and others that cost 2 or 3 times more per gallon.
