Been testing with an Air Speed Indicator Gauge lately studying the effects of the wind and air off other vehicles.
Trying to improve aerodynamics with air dams and splitter/pan.
Picked up 2/10ths to 3/10ths mpg with the air dam/splitter/pan.

Nice dice1, what did you use to make it with?

I find your numbers hard to believe. Not saying that it can't be done. It is just hard to accept.
I have a open mind though. -

Questions for Dice.
Just a few years back you got average Cat 3406 mpg? About 6?
Has you load type or where you haul changed since then? What about cruise speed or driving style? Has part of your mpg increase come from any of these factors? Or just from your modifications to your rig? -

my mbn is 5.75 mpg with 80k lbs and 3.70 rear ends

Maverick company truck, pulling2013 Cascadia DD13, 10 speed ultra shift, 2.64 rears, SS Michelin X Ones, Governed at 64mph on cruise and 65 on the pedal. 7.57mpg, 6 month average (Maverick takes the average from the gallons bought and HUB miles for the fleet)....most of the fleet is in the 7's with the highest mileage driver getting a consistent 8.25mpg.....It's rare for us to be hauling less than 40K...usual load is 45K....

That is interesting. My cousin has a 2012 Cascadia dd15, rtlo16913 tranny and standard freightliner 3.42s. 53' Utility reefer with add on skirts and AirTabs all the way around. Duals on both with Michelin SmartWays in every position.
He's an old school trucker and likes to do the speed limit in EVERY state. And he's still averaging over 6.5.
I've been as low as 5.25 and as high as 6.7 in my 2012 Coronado. I recently converted over to super singles on the cheap, on the truck only. Doing 6.4 right now and got off brand recaps in 3 positions.
I should be back to michelins in all positions by years end, and maybe even a brand new trailer too.
