    well thankfully, no deaths.

but seriously, everyone has to prove themselves a driver by being in that crap weather?

a few minutes or an hour or 2 sitting, would have ruined someone's time?

I flew through there earlier before day light when it just started snowing and sticking. Thinking if I wait until tommmrow I will probably run into a pile up.... and i see this on the news.

I always smash through the fresh falling stuff. Then let the crazies deal with breaking and Jackknifing the next day as always.

“Two trucks running together were unable to keep from crashing into the crash site”

How many times do we see trucks running nuts to butts at high speed? Why? Why do you have to drive 78 mph 1 truck length behind another all the way to Sacramento? You’re going to get lost if you fall a 1/4 mile behind?

    SMH

If you can’t drive right in inclement weather than stay the hell home. Drive right means not screwing up, not driving like an idiot, and knowing your limits.

I notice this even more in inclement weather. And you’re right it drives me up the wall. I get following in line and staying in the trucks tracks in front of you at a distance, but I don’t need a hood ornament getting tangled up with my door latches.

Oh my god. I passed by that spot an hour and some change before that incident. I remember that stretch being icy. Heck I was talking on the cb to a driver pulling doubles almost lost it in front of me his back trailer was pulling to the hammer lane and he had to swerve that way to catch it back. Frankly the hammer lane was dry good traction while the right lane was icy.

EDIT: Noticed this was east bound I was going west. Why is east bound driving so reckless knowing their driving into the snow aftermath the roads are slowly going to get worse because you’re heading into more recent snow.
