I graduated June 7th and was offered employment by Roehl. Schneider and May. I really like Roehl and have decided that they are where I want to go. I was told by there medical that since my cpap machine is new then I have to give them 90 days of use to continue with thw hiring process. I then called my recruiter and she told me that they have 90 days from the time I graduate to bring me onboard.. Does this sound right to yall?
90 days from graduation to get on with a company?

I'm training for Schneider's tank division now, and there is a guy in my class who has to get a new CPAP machine, because he needs one that he can put an SD card into. It's so the doctors can check to see if he actually uses it every night. But Schneider isn't sending him home or anything. Roehl's policy sounds pretty tough.

But if you wait 90 days to get this information 90% of the companies that hire students will not hire you because you have been out of school more than 30 days. Roehl's own recruiters will tell you that. Call them and ask them without giving your name and check for yourself if you don't believe me.
Ask if their Medical Officer will issue you a 90 day medical card. DOT does allow that and its even on the long form as an option. If not move in to another company and quick!Jrdude5 Thanks this. -
I use a bpap and have sever apnea, I had my machine for about a month before getting my medical card, they give me 1 year at a time. My machine has a wireless modem that picks up cell signals and apria healthcare where its rented from can look at my info at any given moment as long as its plugged in.
