Or when they call roads like I4 and I12 "Interstates when in reality they are "INTRASTATES"!

That bridge sure makes the place look like crap. Not to mention the out of place welcome center. The place looked a lot better before all that new construction.

I have traveled this route probably 100 times just stay in the left lane when you see the signs sometimes wind gusts are high and it’s a long way down

    The bridge is necessary.

If the dam was to ever fail (And that is a possiblity like all dams, although considering this one poured as a stack of lego cubes that interlock (And is actually still curing to this day....) that bridge will be welcome.

What about I-76 supposedly ending in Nebraska and then reappearing in Ohio?

If the Hoover dam fails, crossing the Colorado river will be the least of anyone's worries!
That dam will be there long after that ugly bridge is condemned.

The Hoover dam bridge addition was initiated a few days after and because of 9-11. How many years did trucks have to deviate via Laughlin to keep trucks off the dam? (For national security concerns)

We used to haul heavy equipment/oversize across Boulder dam in the old days. Was always slow going through there with a semi, because of tourists, but that was ok.The lake was pretty full of water back then, too. If you were lucky, there were pulloffs on the hill on the Nevada side where you could park a semi, and walk back down and do the tourist thing.Great memories.
