My truck has almost 1.4mill with a 355hp cat 3406E. I just picked up a new radiator assembly and the two bushings for the bottom.
Is this a pretty strait forward install?
It cant be driven anywhere as it pours out coolant and id rather not pay for a tow or to have someone come to my house to fix it as I live kinda far from a shop.
If someone had a diagram they could post to make this simpler it would be awesome, its going to be -17 tomorrow.
vin is 576958 if needed. Thanks

I guess nobody has done one before.

Well took us 6 hours to get the #### thing out and half way installed. had to torch the 4 bolts on the bottom off as there was nothing left of the nuts. very little room on the bottom, what a poor design.

I paid a shop to install mine in my old 93. They did it for roughly $500 including coolant, a few hoses, and fixing an exhaust leak. It sounds like I got a good deal, but it was 7 1/2 years ago.

I guess I'm too late here! Don't check in much cuz it's all Century Cascadia posts.
I replaced my original '96 Behr with a new Detroit Radiator core about 2 years ago.
Yes it is tight in there at the bottom. I got mine apart without cutting. The nuts were rusted on so the studs just broke when I turned 'em! I welded SS studs on and used SS nuts so next time will be easy as pie! When I'm done it's better than new. -
Yeah the problem was we couldnt get to the rear/back nuts. so we had to cut them off, the others just broke off.

I changed the rad in my 97 FLD,i dont think they changed them much, fld's are like harleys, you either love em,or hate em,but they stay the same....Anyways,took me 10 hours, working alone, its pretty simple actually.Take the shroud bolts off, leave the shroud hanging on the fan, disconnect your hood cable, set the hood on a garbage can.Be carelul with the hood, once u get past the cables length it gets HEAVY,so be prepared.Drain your coolant, disconnect the hoses.Unbolt your ac condensor, lay it on the grille, hoses attatched.Leave your charge air cooler bolted to the rad, swap it to the new one on the ground, much easier the doing it in the truck. If u have an impact gun, loosen the bottom bolts from under the truck first, then remove the bolts on the tubular braces, and its free.I used a hydraulic engine hoist(cherry picker) to lift and reinstall mine.Use whatever u have, chain hoist, rope and pulley, farm tractor, anything to lift it out,and set it back in.Its not super heavy, just akward.Thats about it,if u got ant questions, let em rip, good luck.
Jed2009 Thanks this.
