Just got my kitty rebuilt and no one seems to know anything about proper break-in for the cat c-13. If anyone can give me there professional opinion on this I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks

Basically put it work. Keep your idle time to a minimum. Let the engine properly warm up. Change your oil and filter at 1/2 your usual interval for the first oil change. The piston rings and valves have to properly seat and mate with the liners and seats in the head to get the best break in. Properly seated and mated parts will give you the best performance and fuel economy. The only way to properly seat those parts is to have it under a good load. The worst thing you can do is baby it. Those parts are designed to be under the stresses and pressures and will hold up just fine. Your first oil change is half the usual mileage or hours due to normal amount of break-in shavings and other contaminates that develop after a rebuild.
