Its a 96 pete that came with no jakes or cruise where would be a good place to start looking for these parts? Also the motor going into the truck it has a mechanical fan not an air operated fan is this better? Was told so. The motor is rated at 425hp was also told I could turn it up by just a few turns of a screw. The truck is a 96 379 with 63 flattop 3406b, 9 speed direct, 38,000 rears, we are putting this truck to a low boy so any info or does and donts would be great. Thanks

I would go with the air fan hands down less fuel less noise not sure about the cruise I think there's a company that makes a kit but I can't think of the name

Well first off you will have to go with RoadKing cruise control if you want it.

As for Jakes, depending on which motor number you have the only way to go is with the 349A jakes. All others are worthless. Now if someone gives you another set like the 346's go ahead and put them on but I wouldn't buy them, IMO.

Go with an air over electric fan.

I was thinking air to plus i can control it with the switch inside. I will check out the site to for jakes. I think its going to need a fan clutch because I noticed that that the fan would spin with ease with no air to it, shouldnt they get stiff when no air is supplied?

No you should have the old style it takes air to engage the fan so no air means it should be free new style take air to release and use spring pressure to lock it in so no air means fans locked I have to to bad your not near so cal I have a complete set of jakes from a 3406b
