96 Pete with 3406b and 9 speed , the truck has been running daily with no major issues but our other driver says the truck will get to about 60mph and no faster and sometimes it will lose 5 to 10 mph and this is unloaded to. What could be wrong?

Does it also have low power? Fuel filters would be my 1st guess before I dug any deeper.

Power seems ok but I don't drive it either. I know the filters were changed a few months ago.

Few months? It only takes 1 fuel up with bad fuel to plug them up, so I'd throw some filters on it first.

Ask the driver if it runs ok and just stops at 60 like a governor. Any warning lights or anything else abnormal going on? Did it happen all at once, or is it progressively getting worse?
