Truck was running perfect and suddenly start loosing power and looks like running with 5 pistons. Check every thing and find 2 diesel hoses sucking air, replace them and now won't start. The engine runs when fuel pump sucks the fuel from the filter and then engine dies. Any body have any ideas?

I don't think it has a transfer pump at fuel tank, the only pump it have is at the engine.

Put a vacuum guage on the compucheck fitting after the fuel filter but before the pump, you have a cooler plate for the ECM and they do plug, I have replaced quite a few, they are very expensive. You have changed the filter, even a new filter will fail, twist inside the can.
Check the fuel preasure, you need 75lbs going quickly to 140 to start, and a good engine positioning sensor.
The red valve covers are an option they mean nothing, To cut a way down on the noise of the engine, bungee cord a 3 ft piece of radiator hose to the tops of the valve covers. It is a great engine.
Just a thought!trucker359 Thanks this. -
I will certainly will check that plate behind the ecm and let you know.

Ive had that problem. Had a friend hold an air hose with a rag over the mouth of the tank and charge it with air while i started it. Worked for me. Hopefully you might have the same simple luck

Thank you all for the help, it had 3 fuel hoses semipluged , the cooling plate behind the ecm pluged and as a result of all of this a #6 injector damaged, but with all your ideas I was able to fix it.
