I observed an oil leak from the bottom of a/c compressor. It is not greenish in color. It looks like oil. There was a clicking sound when I turned on a/c. It is cooling. It’s a 2000 FLD. Any suggestions?

It would only be green if you have dye in system you can always add some with a kit from any auto parts store they sell 3 Oz cans of the stuff probably wouldn’t hurt any if it a little overcharged but if it’s still working why bother just my opinion worst thing is maybe high pressure switch is bad and systems pressure too high be careful not to overcharge don’t add gas with cab upside down this will pour liquid into a full system I did that thinking it was low and split compressor wide open see if you can figure out where the oil is leaking from add dye if needed it will show up bright green can’t miss it
