Thought I must had needed freon, but learned that the a/c comp. clutch wasn't kicking in. If I hook 12v up to the plug @ compressor it kicks on and the a/c works. Switch on dash lights up when pushed on. But evidently no power is coming from dash to compressor. Volt meter showing only .3 volts getting through. Where do I start or should I say go from here?
A/C switch not working

look at the low side pressure switch. make sure power is getting to that point. if so, try a paper clip in the plug to see if compressor kicks on. if not. problem is between low switch and conmpressor. electrical issue, if you gots no power at the plug. probably could be dash switch or a relay somewhere.
the low pressure switch has a blue cap on the freon connector. trace that line to the switch.Excorcist1 Thanks this. -
