Do trucks have A/C in them when you are resting? I imagine it would get really hot otherwise. How do you sleep when it's over 100 in the truck?

Yes, If you leave the truck idling, or have an apu.
-
You need to check with the company you are looking at. Some don't have APUs and limit your idle time.

most trucks have them, but the truck needs to run.....
if u have an apu......the truck can be shut off.....
there are a lot of threads about running trucks to keep warm/cool..............if you search u should be able to find them -
My truck doesn't even have AC when I'm driving. Knocked 40 pounds off my empty weight when I removed it. Not to mention, under the hood is a lot less cluttered without all that useless crap in the way.

Im taking mine out too..scrap metal is up lately!!

yep, try sleeping in that cab in phoenix when it's 113 outside and about 130 in the sleeper and let me know how it works for ya.
My truck had opti idle which it seems is now broke due to an electrical fire I had last night under the dash. They got everything else kinda fixed at the ta. I got a stick to fix the idle. Just wedge it between the seat and throttle pedal and keep the idle around 1,000 and it won't shut off.
