    Hi all,
I have a few questions about Fed-Ex and some available openings locally. While I like my job...the recent transition to teaming has extended my day a ton and Im not home much at all...causing some strain on the homefront. So I need to look for another job. While Im trying to find a teaching position...I need a backup in case that doesnt work.

Fed Ex has 3 openings in my town....two are the same....I forgot the title...but it looked like the kind of driver job where they take a truck and two pups and go somewhere. I wasn't sure how that worked. I see a lot of them on the road...don't know if they return home daily or what...if its regional?

The other was for a city driver spot...apparently from the description...it is a a day cab and pup trailer (or bigger i guess) and just making deliveries around town.

Anyone have more info on these jobs...such as pay...etc?
    Thanks

what you are talking about is called linehaul....its basically a dedicated run where you run from one fedex terminal to the other...these guys are paid mileage

local p&d is the other one, this is where u are making pickups and deliveries in and around your home terminal, paid hourly
