A couple of questions about our CAT's

    No there is a new one if you go to their website you will see it. It's only been out for 3-4 months. They are charging $178 for it as opposed to $158 for the 100463 everyone knows about. It has to be a different part # than the 100463 because you guys have been talking about those for years. I think there may be a better one than that now. Trying to find out instead of buying one and paying more than I need to. I may have to take one for the team and buy one to get the number so we can find out some specs.

    I went out and opened my hood but can't find a part # on the filter head. Mine is a CAT part, flows 120 GPH. You cannot use a CAT filter with it, doesn't flow enough. I use Fleetguard FS1023 or FS1212 if 1023 isn't available. When you get a head be sure you get one that mounts the same way as the one you have. Mine has 4 bolts on top through a bracket off the frame. Some mount differently.
