been pretty busy, ran in a circle across WV to VA, then into NY, reloaded for NJ, didn't make it home, stuck with a 120 mile run for Monday. 2537 miles, 5 tarped loads, looking at about 1100 bucks gross. not a bad week.

I need a load of shingles, I can't remember the last time I didn't tarp a load. pipe, roofing, steel, steel, steel, lumber, paper rolls, and now drywall... that's as far back as I remember.

rub it in!I had a Home Depot dedicated run 2 weeks ago... 100 miles, no tarp, same day. goal for this week is to run 2500 miles, get rid of this antique 96" trailer, and make it home for the long weekend.

I had two of those Home Depot loads around the same time. Pick up south of Chicago at the mexican place? Big jigsaw puzzle load with 4-5 stops a few miles apart on the other end?

Ah, I don't get to the official dcs much. Me and rigid appointment times don't mix well.

Ugh. Try being ON that dedicated, talk about ridiculous appointment times.

Talk about a learning curve.. One store will hang you for being a minute early, while the other ones schedule for 7:00 am and don't even show up until 8. It's really stupid.

Lowes is a lot more laid back than Home Depot, just show up before 4 and they don't seem to care.
