Mine has given me very good service for the 210k I've had it, and it is measurably quieter than the Century. If looks are what it's about, have at it.
A Crete recruiter called me This Morning.

Sounds like you enjoy working harder for less money. More power to you. I'll stay here with Crete running 2700-3000 per week at .46 cpm in my "ugly" truck while you run yourself into the ground for 11 cpm less. No problemo.Speedshifty81, zentrucking and tucker Thank this.

Yea, why would you want to drive an extra 1000 miles for the same money? I don't like the looks of the Cascadia either, but I wouldn't let that determine where I work.
-
Let's get it right now it's not a cascadia, it's a crapcadia! And they are one big pile of garbage, typical freightliner fleet truck drive it 4 years junk it recycle it and build another.
I had a crete/shaffer recruiter call me awhile back. Not sure where he got my ph#?. I told him i was not interested in being a company driver!. He never did answer my ?. As his source for my contact #. I have never filled out an online application for trucking job site that shotguns your application to hundreds of companies?. -
I got .26CPM out of school
needless to say I'm looking elsewhere now -
Crete does have ugly trucks but where else pays .43 .44 CPM for 6-12 months experience?
Nowhere I know of.
Is going to Trans-am in their pretty Kenworths worth it at .32 CPM?
Not in my mind, I'll take the ugly truck and $10-$13k more per year please.Guitar Man Thanks this. -
You must be a young fella if you think one of those is the best looking truck ever.poppapump1332, VaGump, joseph1135 and 4 others Thank this.

I wonder if a prettier truck than a blue midroof cascadia would make me more money? I call her big blue and i've had her for over a year now, and she purrs like a kitten at 63 mph. I don't pay for fuel and get .43c a mile, avg 3k miles a week, home on weekends for a 34 every weekend. What's to complain about here?
zentrucking Thanks this. -
I've heard this twice in my entire life.
Once from a blacked-out-drunk drive in a bar down in Louisiana.
And now you.tucker and joseph1135 Thank this. -
that sounds too good to be true
where do I sign up?
