I'm thinking I will.. With the time I took, I won't be doing the same route all the time, and there will probably be a lot of days I don't even drive but 8 hours will have me out of there at 2:30.. I think I'll love that part..

ew working nights. just the thought makes me cringe. my job i can start anywhere from 4am-5:30am, maybe 6 but thats pushing it (seriously its whenever i feel like going in). depending on my day i'm done between 1 and 3:30/4pm. for example today i clocked in at 5:35 and clocked out at 12:50. such a sweet deal cuz i'm on salary. however yesterday i clocked in at 5:15, didnt punch out until 3:45. yesterday i was not enjoying the fact that i'm on salary lol

    They sure did..haha..

I went to nights two years ago after four full years on days but I didn't have early start times available to me back then like I do now. You could be right though - we have dozens of line-haul runs every Saturday which is a great way to make up some of the pay cut if you want..

An 8 hour shift? Driving? How do you work that? I thought even the union jobs worked you 10 hours or so.

Jake, Conway doesn't have a terminal in Fort Wayne and I really would like to apply. They seriously need to get one open here. Get on that, will ya?

You know, I think you are really TRYING to make me feel bad here.:biggrin_2557: And if I was still working (slaving) you would probably succeed!:biggrin_2559:

Residential delivery pulling a 53' trailer or just doing a peddle run with 11 stops and pick ups in that trailer.
