Sounds a little like Dollar General except they just have a little door in the back and use lift gate. The main thing I wouldn't like about DG is most of them don't have a back way around store and those tiny parking lots.

Same with these...Some have plenty room to get back there and get turned around and what not. Others are very tight, or you come in the wrong way and have to go find a way to turn around and come inside the other side of the back of the store.

Tuesday Morning is great backing training for less experienced drivers like myself. Those strip mall locations have caused me to get out and walk through what I am going to have to do way before I do it. After you get used to them they aren't that bad however, if your first drop makes you late...it's no fun at all getting to the other stores. Those delivery times can be pretty tight anyway and if a manager's unload crew is late or doesn't show up it can mess up a drivers day.

The first stop is always the best, providing you can arrive the night before and recon without the pesky traffic interfering with your well laid plans.

^^^This...I always try and get there the night before. Unload next morning, do my PTI, and head to next store.

Yes, I am a get there the night before kinda guy myself. Let's you head over to the next stop with a fresh clock. The recon is well worth it as well. I also use google earth on my phone to see what the place looks like before I get there as well.

Indeed. I just recently discovered the street view/satellite options on the Google Maps program in my Droid that I've had well over a year.
Didn't need it before I came back to TL but it sure is worthwhile having now.

Home today for stress test this morning and back in the saddle tomorrow. Got in early Friday, enjoying four nights at home.
