A felon that needs help

    Hey guys im a covicted felon thats 10 years old of the actual arrest and conviction date is 5 1/2 years i also have 2 possession of marijuana charges under 20 grams misdemeanor that is almost 3 years old in August . Do you guys know any company that will hire me or give me a prehire letter because im trying to go through the WIOA program and i need 3 prehire letters , I already have 2 (May trucking, Windy Hill) i just need that last 1 can anybody help me out on this . I am really starting to get discouraged about this. I know i made mistakes and i have owned up to it my felony charge is robbery with a weapon not deadly. I did not rob anybody i was picked up from work by a ex friend of mines and he went in the store and robbed it nobody was hurt or anything but the police say because i didnt do anything to prevent it i also was charged with it . So im asking for help not judgement if anybody can help i would greatly appreciate .

    Felony robbery with weapon not deadly?

    That does not make sense. Felony Robbery means a loss value sufficient to gain that charge and with weapon? All weapons including big fists have the potential to be deadly.

    That right there would cause many many trucking companies to think twice about hiring you. Never mind the drugs. The Felony robbery (Theft etc) is one of the much bigger risks in this Industry when you consider the potential of say a million dollar load of narcotics from McKesson. Tempting huh? No one will put you on that run. It's not going to happen.

    There is a form of theft without weapon called embezzlement. That's way worse without violence.

    There will be however... be PLENTY of loads that are really bottom. No big loss or value to you or anyone else if the thieving comes on again.

    Im not your opponet. If it is one thing this entire industry hates is people who steal. Because there are very expensive stuff going around the USA. You would be challenged trying to land such work.

    The drugs are just icing on the cake. Appears to be three years. Most employers in trucking go back 7 years or even 10. You wont believe what is possible now in drug testing. (Which BTW includes ordinary pain medicines now as of Jan 1 this year)

    Ok i see you really didnt read my post and i was a minor when this happen 16 to be exact i was charged as an adult , i did not steal anything hell i didnt even go in the store . I just didnt call the police . But thank you for your opinion stay blessed love

    Yeah i tried covenant they want my drugs charges to be 5 years my felon really not the problem cause how old it is its the dumb drug charges
