I was going to say $10800 each way for me to bobtail and pick it up. Say no to cheap freight.

2700 miles one way, 5400 miles round trip.

Tolls in PA, Ohio and in Indiana.

It seems to be on the low end at $10k, this isn't just a move of product but a long trip so $3.50 a mile without the driver waiting, if they were to wait, $5 a mile.

    dwells40 and austinmike Thank this.

I did this exact thing for a company that was local to me a few years ago. The artist that makes the huge robots that shoot fire like a dragon is in my town, and Burning Man is about a 5 hour drive from my house. It was a really beat up 48 foot reefer with their living supplies inside. I checked it over carefully and everything was in working order. Told them I would do it for $4,000 each way and they said yes without blinking. As it turns out, it wouldn't have been worth it for triple that price. My 2018 T680 was practically new at that point, and the fine silica dust of the Black Rock desert is unforgiving, and gets into every nook and cranny of your tractor. It clogged every air filter on my truck. It got into places that I'm sure it was never going to come out of no matter how many times it was power washed. A few weeks later when it came time to pick it up, I lied and said that my truck was in the shop and I wouldn't be able to go back for the return trip. No way I was going to put my expensive investment through that Hell again.

    dwells40 and tarmadilo Thank this.
