Good stuff. I've already purchased a locking croc pot, and found my old mini George Foreman grill. I'll be eating very few meals at a Truck Stop. My wife will be making soups and stews, and then freezing them to eat later.

I don't like to work for nothing and so I choose not to. I don't mind someone else making their wage off my work but why am I supposed to be OK with doing that and get nothing myself in return?

I'm consistent in the things I have posted here over the years. If you or others are in a bad situation the way I view it is that's of your own making. You have choices out here.

Thanks Bro. My wife is on a mission to keep me alive. She puts very little salt in everything. I've gotten used to it over time. Sugar is something I need to be more mindful of, and I thank you for the warning.

The Foreman grill will be cooking chicken breast and fish (depending on the smell) mostly.

I've seen this exact attitude displayed more times than I can count here in TTR and recently had to deal with it on a thread of my own. However, I never get that impression from Rollin Coal, Hurst or Double Yellow. They never come off as pushy, arrogant or elitist to me at all. Those three posters have always been my favorites here. The information they share and the help they offer (whether directly or indirectly) has been invaluable to me. The help they've given here has saved me from making several costly mistakes and I continue to learn from these guys often.

Because of how posters (especially new members) are treated I was a lurker here for a long time before I actually started making my own threads. I understand how it can be frustrating with all the new posts and the asking of the same things over and over but one doesn't HAVE to respond. Let them do their own legwork. If they aren't willing or determined enough to search and follow threads here then they most likely won't take that same conviction into their business which will likely fail.

Yeah I only do oversize in my state because permitting is really easy here. You can buy a 30 day or even annual permit so you don't have to get one for each load. It's a pretty simple permit that takes less than 5 minutes to get online. No need to input the load details or anything like that if it's not a superload.
