It amazes me that these companies never want to listen to the person who is actually having trouble.

Dolly Handle? Heck they are laying all over the roads! I even have one as a spare! It might not be the one thqat came on the truck BUT when you pick up a POS some moron either left missing one or another idiot stole then that and a long 1/4" bolt can save a day!

How to store several/many tarp straps without them hooking to each other and looking like a wad of Christmas lights all tangled up...See an old tarp or heavy canvas laying around? Cut a piece about 1/2 longer than your straps and lay the straps on the canvas in a row and fold the canvas over each end of the row then roll the canvas up.
Now when you need a tarp strap just unroll the kit and pick out the straps you need and roll it back up! No muss no fuss! They aren't tandled up!

Actually they wanted me to "just steal it off another trailer", but I didn't have a decent set of vice-grips with me and it would just be a problem for the next guy. I didn't like their attitude about that either. Don't fix problems, just pawn it off on the next driver.

So it was sweet, sweet shadenfreuid, when in the moring the Great Dane guys put on the handle, then tried to raise the gear and noticed the whole assembly was out of alignment. (probably dropped or crashed into). Now even I would have just strong-armed the gear up to about 18" off the deck and ran with it. But these guys brought out their alignment tools and the works. :laughing-guffaw:
