Thanks. I’m definitely hoping to get at least 6 months so I can look for someplace else. I just need experience really.Lonesome Thanks this.

I would make CRST the back up to National Carriers, do yourself a favor wait to see what NC has to say.
D.Tibbitt, Lonesome and motocross25 Thank this. -
FYI - The only thing I really know about CRST is that you will sign a contract agreeing to work for them for 1 year. As well as a non-compete agreement. Now I don't know that the non-compete thing would hold up legally but I know if you leave early they will contact whoever you try to go to work for with a copy of the non-compete that you signed, and tell them they can't hire you. There have been several posts here on TTR about guys not being able to find another job because of this.Lonesome and motocross25 Thank this.

I assumed that was only for the people who got their CDL through them. I’ll keep that in mind then for sure and read what I sign.

I’m going to call them tomorrow but as of now the plane tickets are already bought so unless they hire me on the spot and have me start immediately, I’m going to have to go with CRST. I’m not working right now and need to start making something.Chinatown Thanks this.

That is my understanding too. Our division is run separate from the rest of the company. I only deal with them is when I need to fix something on this trailer.
-
Do you work for them? I’m slotted to work dedicated hauling for Caterpillar.
-
I drive for a company owned by them. I really don't know anything about Vanex and their other van pulling dovisions.
