As expensive as it has become to live on the road these days I don't think it's worth it anymore.

I’m out 4.5 days and that’s enough for me.

    We went hourly in March.
40 for straight time and 60 over 10 hrs.
It sure does reduce the stress.

For what it’s worth this is mine as of tomorrow’s check. Now one quirk is it doesn’t include the current weeks miles on this quarter, which this week I ran 3133 miles, so my total for this quarter as of Tuesday at midnight is 27876. Lord willing and the truck don’t croak I’ll have 1300 miles this week when I deliver tomorrow. I run 3-5 weeks out at a time and usually take 4-6 days off when I do get home.

bzinger, Dale thompson and Fatdaddy54 Thank this.

I run anywhere from 2 weeks to 2.5 months. This year has been slower than usual, but remarkably consistent.

If you don’t have any home life and the truck is it I’m glad it works for you.

Exactly ! I have no interest in living in a truck just to pay my bills .
Yes I did it for 4 years to pay off my truck and when I wanted to slow down and have a home life i was labeled as lazy .
They can pound sand up they're posterior and I sold the truck .
Ryan says hi everyone and he's off to a very promising job that has him home weekends .
If some of you are happy living in a aluminum box with no home life running 12k a month have at it !

. The disappearance of quality restaurants was a big factor for me. Higher costs with lower quality made it discouraging
