You will love being home every day and not chasing miles. I am so much more relaxed driving now than I have ever been. 5 day bid, leave out Sunday 1900 and do a turn. Home Monday morning, hit the bed then head to Burlington Vermont at 1900. Roll into the terminal at 0430 or so. Break set and back in doors, head to the gym for a bit and usually at the hotel at 0530. Up at 1600 or so and on the road by 1930. Home around seven am. Back out at 1900 then another run to Burlington and I am home around 0700 Friday morning. Loving life, been doing this for 4 and a 1/2 years. Turning 62 next month. Could have another run that pays more but I like being home.

I agree , I've been home 3 weeks now and haven't missed otr one tiny bit ....as far as that hourly thing goes I've had to remind myself several times now that I'm on the clock every minute of the day .

Found it. When I got diagnosed with apnea I was skeptical but after getting used to the mask it’s life changing for the better.

Only on day 2 and this isn't a bad gig , a little disorganized at times but ya get paid for every minute of your day no matter what you are doing ...very laid back and not pushy , once dispatched ya never hear from them again.

That corn fed country man is getting the best of you. Ha ha On a better note I sure hope it does help you. Nothing is worst than having sleep issues. I messed a nerve up in my hip, back area and it took for ever to find some meds that will allow me to sleep right. Was a time I would sleep 2-3 hours at max a night and than would have to try and soak in the tub with scolding hot water to make it calm down. It will drive a person crazy!
