Always good to see someone finally fall into something that works for them & makes them happy.
Awsome to see & hear. We do not see enough of this. ✌️Knucklehead, Friend, 88 Alpha and 7 others Thank this. -
Thank your sir! And it's been tough to find as my closest friends here will attest to after I sold my truck last year , I doubted my decision on that for a while but I'm getting better with it ...last year was a roller coaster and got the stink eye from my better half several times ..God bless her patience!
Some may think I quit posting here but I really just wanted to see how things went at stans before I said much ..Knucklehead, Speed_Drums, Sirscrapntruckalot and 9 others Thank this. -
Ps ...last summer was a valuable lesson on how bad some companies will lie to you just to get you in the door ....I still get pissed when I see a don hummer truck .

@bzinger, I haven't been over here much last couple years, but jeez, since Sapp remarked the paid parking again, the free spots were full of mostly locals before noon today! That side of the lot almost looks like Shoemakers!
If it wasn't for the fuel discount and the Salty Dog across the street, I'd probably exnay this place. But i can't give this stuff up! LOL
For y'all that have never been here, their charbuff wings are awesome, and I'm not a wings guy! That scampi in the background ain't none to shabby, either.austinmike, Knucklehead, Speed_Drums and 11 others Thank this. -
I'm not a wing's guy either. Too much work and mess for the little bit of meat you get. That being said, those look amazing. I would try those. Looks like it would be worth the effort.austinmike, Feedman, Hammer166 and 7 others Thank this.

When the hell did Sapp Bros start paid parking......?austinmike, Hammer166, Feedman and 3 others Thank this.

Yeah sapps isn't what it used to be that's for sure , I live a mile straight south of there but you'll only see me at sapps these days for as long as it takes to get my truck washed and I'm outa there, the truck parking situation around omaha has gotten real slim the last 10 or so years and that'd why I rent a private spot for mine when I'm home and even those spots are getting hard to find .
Yeah that salty dog is nice but my bar days ended long ago and i prefer to just enjoy my home when I'm off work .....never a beer shortage in my shop lol.austinmike, intrepidor, Knucklehead and 6 others Thank this. -
Quite a while ago, they probably had to do it because the locals and even small fleets used to fill the place up.Knucklehead, 88 Alpha, FullMetalJacket and 4 others Thank this.

Initially, just before Covid. Pretty much everything north of the fuel island. Then they freed up the back row, or most of it, paid was the spots next to the shop & the Streakin' Beacon. Like I said I haven't been over here much the last couple years so I'm not sure when they redid it, but it's back to everything north of the fuel Island is now paid.
Commerce City never did change any of theirs that I remember, pretty much everything except the stuff in the hard to get into corner West of the back exit is paid except for four spots in that notch that are 2-hour parking for showers.Knucklehead, Oxbow, FullMetalJacket and 3 others Thank this.
