Ok day 2 ...just hung around iowa 80 all day. Day 3..the 3 deliveries were at a chain of feed stores. First 2 no problem but third one was a true test of patience, but I got it done. wow!! So we were supposed to go to St Louis to get a load of beer at 6pm. Not gonna be ready yet sowe go to a truck stop near st louis and shut down and enjoy a nice dinner.
Day 4 we go to get beer but it is overweight so we end up waiting over 2 hours for the guy on the forklift to unload the whole truck and add spacers at the front and leave a few kegs off to be under 80k. We got that delivered to the terminal in coon rapids and now we are leaving early mrning headed for new jersey

Made the delivery in New Jersey early and got a load going to Wisconsin, light load too. I added it up and i have driven 1700 milesin the last 3 days, not bad for first time on the road, all in all miles for the week will be in the 3400 mile range that I drove. Already have next load for Monday pick up too.

I just retired from the USMC so this is going to be my 2nd career and have made do with bad gear for long enough there trucks not the pay are my #1 reason for picking Magnum and I don't like change jobs so I have read all the forums I could and talked to a lot of drivers (2) from Magnum and I don't think I could have started any place else and stayed for the long haul Magnum looks it will be my home for a lot of year but time will tell
