So, the warehouse in San Antonio took forever in a day to get us finished. Next pick up was a food manufacturer that makes taco meat for a major taco chain, fun getting in there but once i cleared the gates they were waiting to load us. Made it to Lafayette, LA first night. Tonight we made it to Cleveland, Tennessee.
enicolasy, runningman0661 and ncmickey Thank this. -

After one final long trip from new jersey to Omaha, by the way, Dj beverage services had to be the hardest place to get in and out of, then a pick up in shelby, iowa going to Fargo, we made it safely to the terminal. We got in late so we took a nap for a few hours and got up early so we could meet with Mark. Got in the office at 8am. Mark asked Darrell if I was ready and he said yes. Mark then takes a post it note, writes a number on it and says I get truck 1003 and to go to shop to get checked in. We go to shop, get checked in and there is an issue with the bunk heater. We finish checking in and they tell me to go see Bryce with my permit book. I go see Bryce he checks the book out and gives me my fuel card. As I am leaving, I see Mark who asks me if I got checked in and if truck was good and I told him it was except for the crazy radio that turns itselfon full blast without notice. He tells me take it to the shop and they will change it. When I get back to the shop they already got a call to change out the radio. So they get the work done they needed to do and send me out. I get a load offer on peoplenet for a load that takes me home to Fort Worth. I pick it up Saturday and it delivers Monday night at 11pm at sygma foods. I will say it seems weird being alone after being with trainer for a few weeks but I am ready and excited for what lies ahead of me. I will drive with pride knowing what a geeat company Magnum has been so far (of course bustingmy ### and earning one of the new trucks with the fancy features would be nice too)

I started in 1001.... give it alittle time. You'll get a newer truck....
Congratulations!!!!
My only words of advice is take it easy and think your actions through. Dont hesitate to call your trainer. Stay calm and always look twice!! The nervousness gets better.....
Enjoy your well deserved hometime!runningman0661 Thanks this. -
Congratulations janda c! Take care of the truck, don't tear anything up, and you will be upgraded to a newer truck before you know it. NcMickey gave you excellent advice. Take your time and never let other drivers or motorists in general rush you. Have a safe trip home.

Way to go, take care of that truck, maybe you can give it to me when it's time for you to upgrade! Congrats and have a safe drive home.
