A Newbie CDL's Adventure in The West Texas Oil Fields.........

sanjel 6months, frac tech 1yr,baker hughs not hiring newbies 1yr, weather ord ,schlimber halli said my licence is too old .

 

Ok I know personally that most of those companies will send you to school so they'll take you with no experience also. It's not otr their not trying to make money off of training drivers

What about the other companies I listed. What about key, nabors and basic? If you don't have the capabilities to find work in the oilfield then you couldn't handle the work anyways!

 

i wouldnt worry about that much because i dont have my cdl anymore ater 5 years, idont know either recession or insurance ridiculous requiremtns. Those 3 were the 1rst ones and even with that i called them repetitively (because i kept a big list with telephones) they all said tthe same thing. Over here in North Dakota they have raised their insurance requierments because i dont know if you knew this folks that there are lots lots accidents , lots of drivers had been killed because they drive more than 11 hrs 7 days straight .

Extremely interesting thread here OP. Still trying to decide on going TMC or trying my hand in the good ol' oil fields seeing as I live around 2 hours away.
