Yep, as far as i know Bison has them. But dont know who else.
I am also wondering if the APU just charges the Batteries or directly runs the apps. in the cab??

I have a blackrock with about 3000 hrs on it.

It does have a generator on it but I only use it to run the block heater when the APU is on the rest of my 110 power is supplied by a 3500 watt inverter and the batteries are charged by the APU this way I have 110 power wether the APU is running or not .
Heating with black rock is a hot water system off the coooling system of the Apu itself, it works fine unless it is really cold and then I hook up a 1500 watt cube heater which not only produces heat but works the APU a bit harder which causes it in turn to produce more heat.
The cooling works good even in Laredo in the summer heat.
I have had several other APU's in the past I got the Blackrock because of the ease of working on it, you can actually do a lot of the maintenance yourself , some of the other APU's on the market are so crammed together the its an all day job just to change the belts

Walmart has them on all fleet trucks, charges batteries, keeps warm coolant through motor, on cold climate trucks we have a unit like a espar to keep the fuel from freezing when the trucks not running

We run a Tri-Pak by ThermoKing....and we love it....it comes with an 1800w inverter as part of the system....uses the truck engines cooling system...which keeps the block warm...and keeps the batteries charged. Can't imagine working without it....cool in the summer....warm in the winter....all for about a gallon a night....MAX!
