Just thought I'd pass this along. One of my brothers is a truck mechanic in OKC, He says Passmore drivers are real happy. O/O spec long nose conventionals (mainly Pete 379's, a few W900's) for OTR. Trucks are triple digit, good pay per mile, lots of drop and hook. Local route trucks are aero's (Pete's and KW's) with smaller sleepers. Supposed to be pretty relaxed. don't push you too hard, long as that truck is moving and legal they're happy. Equipment is replaced frequently. I have no first hand knowledge, this is all what my brother heard from drivers of that company. They're real happy driving for them. One thing they like is that if anything goes wrong on the truck (from a simple dash switch to major mechanical) they can get it fixed ASAP, no problem. Trucks are always clean and shiny, so I'm assuming you can get it washed frequently on the company nickel. Just some FYI for my fellow truckers.:smt023

    Their trucks aren't triple digit.

I'm passing this judgement on what I see on the road, and heard from their drivers at places I was also loading. I think they are governed to 72.

They may have some serious safety issues if they are on OSHA's watch list.

Saferstat reports them as non-existent.......I wonder if they are registered legally.............

I found it......FMCSA reports them as inactive.............No insurance

I'd say the problems are large

if they don't have money to pay for insurance, what's to say they have been paying those health care premiums as well.........??

and then i would suspect maintenance, has fallen to the wayside on some if not all of the equipment.

i smell bankruptcy or "leaving town after sundown" is in the future there.......

The reason you may be having dificulties finding them is because on May 1st, 2006 Robert & Lawana Low purchased the company. The actual name of the company is Premier Carriers LLC but they choose to keep A. Passmore on thier trucks.

If you're not familar with Robert Low, he owns and races several throughbred horses, owns several hotels and 6 other trucking companies......one of with is Prime. <-----(hence why I want to hear from drivers)

So now back to my original question......Is there anyone on here that has drove for them....past or present. I would liek to hear what the "real" deal is.
