In the email on my PeopleNet, the DM's and planners will remain at Lancaster and will still be the "home" of truckload.

Just found out out my dm put in his two week notice that makes two dm's that I've had to leave I'm sure there will be more .I knew something was going on around here just couldn't put my finger on it at the time.
-
Well than there is a lota of misinformation going on around here...I will shut up then (lol)
-
Yeah, there is a lot of that going around. My previous dispatcher quit about a month ago while I was on home time. Got an extra day home while his fleet was reassigned.
The email on my PeopleNet is from Russell Stubbs and in it it states that; " Your Driver Managers, Local Dispatchers, Operations, and Safety Support will continue to be housed in Lancaster and Lancaster will effectively remain home base for the FFE TL drivers. LTL drivers will continue as normal and report where they report today." -
My mpg varies based on weight and wind speed (I'm not kidding about the wind speed). I would say that my average is about 6.5 and I have a '13 Cascadia. Right now I am hauling about 20,000 pounds and I'm getting over 7. About a month ago I hauled 10,000 from Lancaster to Roswell, NM, and then offloaded 1000 pounds and hauled the rest to Ontario, CA. I got 8.1 on that trip. It might have been even more, but I calculated that based on a fill up that I did that included part of my return when I was hauling 42000 pounds of produce back to Texas. Wind speed can have a major effect as well. During the spring I drove into a major headwind in Kansas and my mpg was 3.5. No lie.
My DM is still with the company. He is in Oklahoma, so I have no idea if he plans to stay or leave. -
I don't know if you are using "pen and paper" for the mpg calculations, but I am using an app call Fuelog on droid. Gives you a break down of your fuel expense including your cost per mile. Right now I am sitting at around $0.55 per mile for fuel. And of course you know that the current surcharge is $0.44 per mile. So I am working on getting my mpg's up and my cost per mile down.

hey buckeye thinking about driving for them wanted to know whats the hometime to Atlanta GA area?
-
Good sized yard in Lithonia, lots of loads in and out and good sized ltl fleet. No problem getting there.
-
Getting offloaded in El Paso. After I am done here, I off to Las Cruces, NM to interchange for load that delivers in Cleburne, Tx tomorrow morning.
-
So, I picked up the load in Las Cruces, NM. Right off the bat had to a trailer tire replaced. Then I get here to Cleburne only to find out there was no load locks in place and one of the stacks fell over.
