Thanks for the updates I'm really not sure which direction I want to go I was thinking about the lease program with kllm. My orientation is scheduled for the end of this month, but with all the changes its pretty hard to make a sound decision

I am in ltl now ---- they moved me over from truckload I didn't ask for it ,I was told they hand picked around 75 drivers from truckload to move over. but so far I like it better and it pays better if you hustle and get all your stops off the only complaint I have is getting out of bridgeview its worse than Cargill . they don't have any room at all and it makes for an inefficient operation , trailers are triple stacked here tonight , business is picking up and kllm has added some also. I have been running ohio for a month and a half now and a guy from dallas called me Wednesday and wanted me to move over to rover ltl -- going where ever they need me --- sending me to Dundee tommrow . not even sure how this works lol . I heard that the have teams all set up to do the line hauls but that's what that is I think lol maybe they will have me deliver it who knows lol --- just wing it for awhile lol --- at least I found out tonight lol I have been on his board a couple of weeks but haven't heard a word from him ... sent a message on people net to dispatch saying "by the way folks do I have a dm or am I independent " no response so I had them look it up in the computer here ------ a couple of months ago I sent in a message to night dispatch " truck 67884 is very busy tonight and understaffed if you need to contact me please do not call use your people net and I will answer the messages in the order that I receive them " I did get a lol back from that one . Hopefully kllm dispatch will be an improvement

I have been reading on FFE and I see a mix bag here on how people feel about the company. I would like to hear from current drivers that have some time with FFE and some new ones with under a year and there experience.

How many miles are you guys running weekly ?
What is the pay and bonus do you guys receive ?
    How is home time:
How are they on idle time ? Do they expect you to freeze or sweet your ### off ?

Thats funny buckeye just before I left I was trying to get on with ltl and got tired of never hearing anything back when I asked about it so I gave up.

Went over to IDC running reefer 11western is working out much better not to bad so far... big differance from ffe... they keep me moving and the trks with built in inverters and fridge are pretty nice.

So the CEO of KLLM sent a Qualcomm message to everyone. It says to dial a number so you can listen to the operations update message. The message does not play; you get an error message instead. I guess that's KLLM's way of saying everything is hosed right now - because it is. I have to give them credit though, that message was the most efficient thing they have done in months.

I asked for ltl 6 months ago and never got to warm of response , they moved me over 2 months ago and didn't really ask me . they told me they were hand picking 50 to 75 trucks to move before the merger . they are funny that way sometimes you have to let them think it is there idea. my friends that switched there trucks over to kllm are not real happy so far as they are not getting the miles but the overall lease is better . I think they moved me over because I live in ohio . but it really seems like I am not doing to much and never have a problem with hours except for 14 hr clock but I end up netting more money this last settlement was the best so far was $2187.00 and that was without a carry over trip on there and even had a layover day on there . my worst was 512.00 the average is around 1500 a little better than I did on truckload . next week might be a small one been in Dundee all week just local stuff and not that much of it but I fueled Saturday and still have a quarter tank left -- that's the big difference and my mileage is over 7.0 most weeks as most loads are light .you do have to handle some freight but not that big of a deal and I get lumpers for anything over 2 pallets at the wharehouse . I delivered to a house where the guy ran a catering business out of his garage he tipped me $20.00 because I helped him put the boxes in a little cooler he had set up in there was only about a half a pallet ---- whens the last time you truckload guys got a tip lol . my complaint is bridgeview I end up sitting there waiting for my load . they told me that they are under orders to load any kllm driver doing a line haul first then the rails then do the ffe drivers . I guess they don't want the word to get to Jackson that its a fcking mess up there

add Lithonia and Burlington to the list of screwed up loading systems ---- they could teach Cargill a thing or too

    "Is this thing on?"

Is there anybody still out there? I am really curious to hear how things are going for other FFE drivers who made the switch over to KLLM. My experience has not be terribly positive, and it's getting worse. I would like to hear how other people are doing.
