well got all the paperwork done and truck should be ready to roll tommrow afternoon , well my warranty still has 303000 left on it and 353000 on drive train and my lease is for 25 months so they should expire at same time , the balloon payment is $45500 and no mileage penalty --- so its around $98000 for a 2012 frieghtliner which is not that bad of a deal if you consider interest and truck will be in like new condition when i get it including all new tires and i can cancell lease and go back company without penalty --- not sure on what is better after the lease --- buy it or walk -- will have to see how it goes ---- so for now just waiting to get rolling lol --- i will wave at you guys when i blow your doors off when i pass you lol ---- and you can laugh at me at the fuel islands--- keep yu posted

well that truck in 25 months should be worth 65,000 retail in 25 months (based on 2010's today) --- i wasnt able to find that truck now for 98000 --- not that it might not be out there somewhere but what i seen were all over that --- they want $25 to give you a blue book price ---- really just wanted to see if it was in line with dealers so i am happy with that

the worse thing about having the 62 mph truck is when you get behind a 60 mph truck that becomes a 63 mph truck when you get out to pass and back to a 60mph truck after you pull back in behind him

Can someone tell me about the FFE terminal out of Burlington, NJ?
If you went to them with CDL in hand - are they willing to hire? Do they then put you through company training?
Trying to get an idea - thanks.

If you have a years verifiable experience in the past 3 years. If not then you have to go to the academy. Coming into the academy with a cdl means you only have to do 9 days, and housing is provided. Also means you can cut your phase 2 training by 2 weeks. 4 as opposed to 6.
Also, don't go to the Burlington yard looking for a job. Call recruiting.

burlington is useually hiring at least regional drivers most all the time and ltl dont useually have a long waiting list either -- talk to a recruiter or better yet ask for sandy adams she seems to get things done --- if you dont have the year experience they send you to the school in ft. worth then your 6 week training in burlington ---- when you talk to sandy just tell her your interested in northeast regional
