I've been to the FFE terminal in NJ a few times, they seem to be very busy, there are reefers waiting to get loaded and unloaded and plus tractors parked all over the place there.

---both burlington and bridgeview stay pretty busy -- havent been to burlington in awhile they seem to be keeping me from colorado to pa except for my monthly visits to florida --- july and august it seemed all i did was run east coast -- now i think anything south of I-10 will be just fine to spring

#1 Walk away after 30 days notice and lose the deposit. Mine was $2200 taken out over 5 weeks instead of the truck payment.
#2 yes, all tags and insurance are included.
#3 yes both, but deadhead is less.
#4 yes, but tolls are reimbursed.
#5 yes, depending on the year of the truck. $40k to $45k

Burlington is rather busy, though they have their own fleet of drivers that are dedicated LTL and return there. I try to stay out of there...they've gotten a lot better as far as OS&D/loading practises go, but they still make bonehead maneuvers between routing and loading (my favorite: multi temp load on single temp trailer, first stop is freezer in the nose, but have to relocate 10 pallets of cooler freight from the tail before you can get to the freezer...this REALLY tweaks the receivers out sometimes). Also they take absolutely FOREVER to load. I typically plan on taking my ten there while waiting for a load.

And, because this is the FFE drivers conversation type thread...here are some of the fun things we do in the NE PA woods. Gets a little boring just yanking a cold box around, y'know ;-)

First, smoothbore tanker, yanked about by my old Lisa truck. Miss that truck, it pulled so much better than my '13 Prostar does.

And one of our daycabs with an end dump, at the same customer.

Friday night, I-10, heading into Texas, and hit a 20 mile backup because they are repairing an expansion joint on the bridge into Texas. Was going to the FJ in Orange, but after an hour and a half took exit 7 to the Loves. Just hoped there would be a spot. Got one. Sometimes things work out.
