    I don't know how familiar some of you are with the Port of Long Beach....But there is a Trans-load Terminal at Pier A....SSA....
    I have been their dozens of times to pick up Stainless Steel Panels going to Wheat Ridge...
    Anyway....There's two O/O's that "Work" that terminal....For between $200-$500 (Depending on the load and if they have to throw a tarp)....They will hook-up to your wagons....And get your loads if you are not either CARB compliant or have a TWIC or both.....
    After they load...They pull out past the guard shack....And drop your wagon in the parking area W/O the yard....

    One my LS agents says this is illegal....But these guys have been doing this for the better part of 4 years that I know of...And SSA or the Port Authorities haven't said or done anything to discourage them from doing this....

    Well...I have a few connections that usually pan out from the Denver Metro....
    For me though...The absolute worst state to get out of is NM.....Well for FB anyway....
    Only two things leave NM....Onions....And crushed cars.....Both are dirt cheap.....

    Well...Still waiting for Cummins to call....They said they should be getting to my rig before lunch....

    I asked them if it was the EGR....To please disable the thing....

    Unfortunately...They can't legally do it.....:biggrin_2553::biggrin_25510:

    This is what I figure will happen also. A power only broker with a fleet of leased trailers could do well.

    I have pointed out several times on this forum that the west side of Phoenix has thousands of doors being built right now.There are tens of thousands of doors in buildings that stretch a half mile sitting empty while dozens more similar buildings are being built. Somebody is expecting the need for lots of cross docking soon.

    Its been a few days since any mid-western cowboys have chimed in with the usual comment so I thought I would make the required daily remark... "I aint goin' to that commie state, they can go to heck". Maybe reality is starting to set in for them.

    That is true in the car hauler world too. Denver is a black hole. Everything goes in and nothing comes out

    Yeah, we used to do a lot out of there coming north. Since Manheim lost GM most of GM's stuff goes out on rail, and we haul maybe a quarter of the factory sale and Smart Auction cars out of there that we once moved.
