I'm so insured, my insurance has insurance. ....

Those coverages seem high. I doubt any one man operation would have that much coverage.

I am not sure what kind of loads would even require that kind of coverage.

This is a direct quote form this entities website I posted requirements from.

" The company's initiatives are designed to provide solid business opportunities for small and diverse businesses, including minority-owned, woman-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, and service disabled veteran-owned businesses."

So you can bet they are getting tax breaks to "help small business" where in fact they are not.
What is happening is these loads are being passed around until they finally trickle down to US the small
carriers with a greatly diminished rate probably being 50% or more. depending on how may people get a cut before US. Most of excess insurance listed is not needed and covers nothing in actual truck transportation. Just another large business advertising they are helping us while they are in fact hurting US by denying us access to loads we haul anyway in what is basically double/triple and quadruple brokering. Rates are down because they know the sheeple will accept anything. It is time those of us who know economics 101 should teach our less intelligent carriers before we all are forced into servitude of the thieves dressed in brokers clothing.
