Ok, troops, here's what it is. I recently decided to attend Southern New Hampshire University, and already have a final paper assigned. The topic is dealing with how mentoring is helping or hurting an industry or it's employees.
Since Swift is the first company I've heard of to use the "mentoring" model, I thought I'd post here. I'm going to be working up a questionaire, and would like to know how many of you would be willing to answer a few questions on your mentoring experience, as well as your personal opinions. I realize how busy many of your are as drivers, since I've been there and done that, so I'll keep the questions as short and easy as I can. If your willing to answer, or just want to provide your personal opinions on mentoring, you can either PM me, or post right here in this thread. I'm fairly active in the forum, and will do my best to post responses or follow up questions as quickly as I can.
Many thanks in advance!
P.S. If anyone is aware of other trucking companies that are using the "mentoring" method, please don't hesitate to let me know. It's a broad issue, nowadays, so more information is better!
And yes, Otter, I'll send you a copy so you can take your much-feared "Red Pen" to it!![]()
