We had a few DM (off set cab) and R models with the twin sticks.
I drove the first f series with a 5 gear air splitter making it a 10 speed.
It was a revelation.
The main problem I had with twin sticks was when you wanted to shift both sticks while going round a bend. You had to try hold the steering and use both hands.

I did fail to mention the 20" aluminum split rims too.
I take exception to your "lost art" comment too. I say it is, especially the way the senior driver taught me with the arm through the wheel and moving 2 sticks at once.......

Ok I had to check--according to my brother in law(40 year--retired at mack--allentown)
When Mack made a customed ordered truck(not custom name plate on center of steering wheel)that truck got a gold bulldog--standard trucks got silver--and as he put it--doesn't mean people didn't put gold on--you could buy them at any dealer ship--so color doesn't always denote anything--but wish i could find a pic of my Uncles B-61--w/a Brockway wolverine on it--lots of guys did that to piss off the Mack guys after mack bought out Brockway and then shut them down--LOLjohnday Thanks this. -
I learned on a B Model with a Mack Quadraplex. Brownie & main box all in one case & the brownie shifter was closest to you in the cab.
