Good to hear, yes I heard they were looking into tankers. They're getting 50+ Volvo Daycabs out there in Cali to replace the emissions trucks. The automatics are setup better then some of the crappy ones out there in the insustry from what I'm hearing so that may be a good thing. Lots of goods things going on at the company with growing and doing more business plastic and other stuff. Wish you the best of luck

What's kinda the average running system on loaded vs unloaded miles ?? Are you getting 3000 miles a week or more, less ?? Do the terminals have showers ??

Miles as a system runner = 2400-3000+ depending on your hours as in a fresh book or recapping. Not all terminals have showers but a large number do. The companies deadhead average is 42% overall, system drivers are around 20-30% deadhead sometimes lower, sometimes higher. So you would be looking at 70-80% loaded miles. California drivers are usually 50-50 since your to far away from the reat of the terminals you usually run out and back.

I'm not saying you can't take the truck home, what I am saying is ask your terminal manager because it is his decision whether or not you take it home.

My numbers are very different FueltankHank. Starting with the most recent pay period and working my way back I was 54% ld on 1541 total miles; 56% on 2680 miles; 64% on 2818; 49% on 1510.

As previously stated most terminals do have showers. Highlands, Florence, and Columbus have washer/dryer.
