Thats what the OTR company I used to run for used... After awhile I got wise to that and just used it myself and then called the company for payment authorization.

I worked for a small mom & pop outfit one time... one truck for a plastics recycler.
They had a subscription to one of these "AAA" services for big trucks.

I blew a tire something like 10 miles west of Tyler, TX on 31. I called the office, they called the service. After sitting for 3 hrs, the service truck pulls up. They were out of Greenville, TX nearly 100 miles away.
There wasn't a tire service contracted to this "AAA" service 10 miles away in Tyler, TX. :eek:o_O:(

From then on, they let me start googling services & calling who I wanted.

    So, the answer is 'yes'.
    Help yourself.

Honestly, and in most situations, you're at the mercy of whoever is closest.

And the answer to your original question is, no.

That said, it might be something to look into for a business.

Back in the day you carried a huge NTTS book or you shop had one.

    NTTS
    Fleet net
    Ebs

Google is your best bet. They are out there, but I wouldnt pay for services for one truck either.

Call your insurance company and ask them. I'm with Great West and they offer it to me regularly.
