A simple question to all truckers with APUs

Oh the liberals will cry if they even see a truck parked somewhere let alone hear it doing something.

 

I hate the new Tripac with three knobs in the sleeper. It sounds like a warzone next to your ear. Reefer is quiter than new tripac. Currently I have the older one and its much better

 

Why ya wanna be hating on the liberals? Lol

 

I wouldnt worry about it. But i did have a guy dump his pee bottle on my hood before he left cause my reefer woke him up. I was asleep when he did the cowardly deed.

 

My truck has a Comfort Pro APU, and I have parked next too many trucks with Tripac APU's. I am always amazed at how quiet those Tripac APU's are.

For comparison, my Comfort Pro is about 5x louder than any Tripac APU I have ever heard. Heck, it's even louder than the reefer, and yes a few times at a few walmarts i have been to, i have had to just idle the truck instead of run the APU, as one can literally feel the Jurassic Park vibrations emanate once i run that beast of an APU.

I have already decided that once I buy my truck i will be getting a Tripac as well.

All that said, I would run aTripac APU anywhere as they are so quiet. It's shocking how much noise difference there is in different APU's.

 

Even the rig masters are quiter than a truck on high idle with the fan running to keep the ac cool

 

I've definitely had to idle sometimes because other idling trucks were making too much noise for me to sleep through.
