Seriously, man, if you've got 10 years experience, you can do better than Western Express; that's the 'last chance' company, for guys with felony records and a lousy driving record.lual, Walk Among Us and Firas Thank this.

But That is none of my concern if they all have bad Records

I am grateful to anyone who extends a job offer.Chinatown Thanks this. -
I kind of agree that you should do better than Western Express. But nothing is permanent. It could be a quick way to become more employable on your next application.

If I'm driving my truck and happy and the company is treating me right,
The rest is irrelevant. I've discovered this over the years.tscottme, Walk Among Us, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -

what do you mean more posts?
please explain -
Yes, you’ll need to register with the Clearinghouse, it’s the FMCSA’s way of tracking drug and alcohol offenses in commercial drivers. Any offense gets logged, and companies you hire on with will request to see your Clearinghouse report. You’ll have to log into it and approve their request. If you have nothing on it, it’s a routine step, nothing to worry about.
Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
I agree with the others who’d recommend you try just about any company before going to Western Express or Schneider. Those aren’t good companies; WE has a reputation for being worse than bad. You should look for any company that has a veteran program, too. You’ll probably need a refresher program, but it may be the case that most companies will want to put you through a full-training course as if you’re a first-time
Here you go, all these companies provide training with no upfront cost:
- Reefer/dryvan - Prime, Schneider, Werner, CFI, Millis, Swift, Knight, Wilson, Roehl, KLLM, Stevens
- Flatbed - TMC, Melton, Maverick, Prime, Swift, Schneider, Roehl
- Tanker - Prime, Schneider
- LTL, dock to driver programs - SAIA, ABF, Estes, XPO, R&L, FedEx Freight, Old Dominion Freight Lines, UPS
- Some companies have associate to driver programs. Walmart, UPS, Publix
