Yeah the 30 days was to get another trk as am self employed 1 trk owner. Looked around awhile for another trk, then had to do some things to it, and set it up the way i want. Didn't get in a hurry. 1st drug test and alcohol test was the night it happened at the local hospital. Think i had 12 or 24 hrs to get that 1 done. I wasn't admitted to hospital, just had to get there for the tests. The kid that caused the accident, do not think he was admitted to hospital either. But the mom & daughter were admitted, the mom in serious condition. He hit her from behind and put her in my lane of travel. I contacted with her and took a ride like you did. I spoke with her a few weeks later, she was walking with a walker, told her i was sorry it happened to them. Oh, and had a eye witness that was standing out front of his house. Said he could not believe his eyes as it unfolded, and it sounded like a small bomb going off.

One thing is for sure, just 1 second sooner or 1 second later it would most likely have been a fatal accident..

IMO, you were exactly where you needed to be at the precise time...

i asked the cop on the scene. he said it was a data pole only, no live power. good thing. good thing there wasnt a deep ditch there either. there is a pile of what if's that could have made it all much worse. thank god it happened the way it did. extreme bad luck but also good luck at the same time.

The way I understand it, an accident thats not the drivers fault wiil for sure show up on the companies CSA report. The FMCSA says they are going to change this but for now It still stands. As for the drivers PSP, Im not sure.
