One thing for sure, sadly, I bet the truck never rides the same.

well i left the industry and never had a dash cam. i don't even have one in my car, but now frankly, i do give that a thought, plus i'd might want a rear-view as well.

but today, to cover your butt, a dash cam is a very valuable tool to have.

i'd imagine to that since it is used for work, it can be a tax deduction, if one itemizes. otherwise, the standard deduction will cover it.

I've had the pleasure of driving a T880. Very sweet truck.

30 days? I guess my employer at least put me back to work the same day. I'm typing this waiting at the plant doing a delivery. My truck sits in the yard waiting insurance adjustment. I'm sitting in a 2006 international eagle with a 72" sleeper. I like this old truck 13 speed manual and a strong running cat.... But the sleeper and lenght of the truck is a bit of a pain for what I'm doing. It would be an awesome otr truck though.

The other truck I've been driving since the wreck is a 2013 t680 18 speed manual day cab but has the earlier paccar engine... I will say the newer paccar engines are better then the older engines. Complete dog. Anyways that truck had a problem with the air suspension not inflating..... Good grief. Into the shop it went.

It does seem like they keep me going no matter what though. Can't be a bad thing.

We have dash cams but I'm not sure it would do much because this jerk hit me on the side of the truck. I'm sure that's outside of the field of view.

Took out a power pole? Ouch.

Good thing you had enough momentum that lines didn't come down on you. One false step getting out and....
