Semi-retired, the pic on the left, front of the bed, just behind the bulkhead, 8' wide metal box maybe 2'x2'. "sleeper" Yeah.... those were the good ol days LoL & yes Albert, evaporation of the moisture on the canvas bag kept the water somewhat cool.

 

This 72 was at the 09 show in Huntsville, this guy worked this truck every day from what I read. My personal favorite.......

"Semi" , I found this one with a load of hay on with the coffin sleeper. Early 50s White. This is my uncle Harold.
