A week of lurking, just dove in.

I've been reading a lot about trucking lately and wanted to say that I really appreciate this site. This is my first post, and I wanted it to say:

THANK YOU TO ALL TRUCKERS!​

Over the past 50 years or so, I've always seen a semi truck first and foremost as something that was in the way. Now that I'm learning so much about the lifestyle, the business, the trucks, and hearing people's personal comments on all sorts of things, I have to say that's changed bigtime.

I took an 8 hour road trip yesterday and I was *glad* to see each and every one of those trucks on the road. My life depends on them, and the people who keep them moving. Thanks for what you do, and thanks for sharing about it on this site.

I've got questions for other threads, but felt I had to say this first.
